Our Moʻolelo

Our Moʻolelo (Story)...
We are a family apparel brand, based on the island of Oʻahu. 𝑃𝑎𝑢 𝐻𝑎𝑛𝑎 𝐾𝑟𝑒𝑤 is a woman/mama-owned and operated business, run by full-time nurse/full-time entrepreneur, Kourtnei Krishok. She takes pride in every piece that is created — from hand-lettering, drawing, designing, hand-pressing, screen printing, styling, and photography — and her two little keiki are the very ones who inspired her to go after her dreams of opening up a small shop!

The name 𝑃𝑎𝑢 𝐻𝑎𝑛𝑎 𝐾𝑟𝑒𝑤, stems from Kourtnei, using her pau hana (after work) time to express her creative side and focus on her passion of running this small business and connecting with other women- and locally-owned small businesses.

Our mission is to uplift, support, and empower others (women/mamas, women-owned businesses, and small local shops).  You will also see us incorporate Hawaiian and local slang, “pidgin,” into our garments as a way to remember who we are, remind us what our ancestors taught us, and inspire us to always continue learning about ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i and Hawaiian culture so we can pass it on and see it THRIVE in our keiki, and for future generations to come!

MAHALO NUI for stopping by!
